There is a growing body of research surrounding the impact of students studying and gaining a strong conceptual background understanding of algebra starting in kindergarten. On the next slides I have given you a brief summary of three articles from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).  Click on the title of each to be taken to the article itself.
